Janeane Garofalo called the Tea Party protesters racist, “straight up”.
She can call me anything she wants. Who’s going to take her seriously?
JENKINS: What do you think of calling just honest protesters racists?
GAROFALO: Well, because they’re not just honest protesters. They were indeed motivated a lot by racism. You saw some of those signs. Did you not? And if they are upset about fiscal imprudence, where were they for the last eight years?

GAROFALO: I don’t. So they’re going to have to wait a long time. So I’d say I don’t.

I don’t want to talk to you about this because you’re obviously trying to provoke something here. If you don’t want admit the truth about the racist element to those people that were there then I would say that you are in deep denial.

Beautiful, the rational that embodies this idiot is absolutely amazing. Why aren’t the democrats that were “all up in arms” about Bush’s deficits now falling over themselves to cry out in protest of “The One”’s deficit that QUADRUPLES Bush’s?

Only when it comes to appearance, so don’t think that I’m letting the “no Helen Thomas rule” slide just because I’m not fussing about Miss G. Unattractive, sure. Deliberately so, sure again. But horrifying? Still got a ways to go.
On the other hand, if you’re talking about her soul, I’d say it’s a very close contest.
