But there’s no mystery: he knew he couldn’t top Christopher Hitchens:

If you say something that Hitchens finds over the line, you really need to reexamine your limits.

Obama is another in a long line of attornies who are in way over their heads.

I am a little surprised by how crude this administration is. I guess I shouldn’t be because their supporters were extremely offensive during the Bush years, but it is still strange to have someone make jokes like that in that sort of position. Those jokes are usually for family and close friends, in private. I guess it is just another example of the coarsening of our culture.
