The Late, Great State of Israel

Reader Joe may rile a few with his unfiltered comments (actually, we do filter them a bit from time to time—sorry, Joe), but he will have a big [bleep]-eating-I-told-you-so grin on his face after reading this:

“…Minimized and little understood is the misplayed fiasco of Israeli diplomacy: how Israel legitimized the tyranny in Syria, ending its isolation even while Damascus plays host to terrorist leaders and furiously acquires thousands of advanced missiles; and how Israel has emboldened Iran to surround the Jewish state, to position its allies on the regional chessboard such that Tehran now possesses the capability to wreak havoc on Israel.”

According to Klein, the great Mideast democracy is headed down a road that, if not altered, may result in catastrophe.

“The greatest threat, the one that magnifies all others exponentially, is that only a few in Israel or abroad are aware of the real extent of the dangers facing the Jewish country—both from within and without,” writes Klein.

“Unless these perils are countered soon,” writes Klein, “the only remnant of the Jewish country may soon be an epitaph: ‘The Late, Great State of Israel.’”

While Klein fingers the Israeli government as often being its own worst enemy, he also shows how policies from the Obama administration and international community harm Israel’s interests and how Iran, Hamas, Palestinian terrorists and a host of other players are poised to end the Mideast democracy once and for all.

Aaron Klein writes for World Net Daily, a popular site for right wing nut-jobs like myself (or used to be—I find plenty of material among the MSM).

It continues to amaze me that the real enemies we face are apathy, complacency, and defeatism. Iraq was a lost cause, until we just went ahead and won it. Al Qaedans were intractable enemies, until they were reduced to the consistency of bat guano in the caves where they cower. There is truth in despair, but it is not the only truth—and it can be flipped on its head if there is a scintilla of will. Hope and Change are fine slogans, but without will, they are just noise.

When told by a reporter that his demands of the Arabs and Palestinians in particular were unreasonable, the late Menachem Begin said ( I am remembering from 30 odd years ago so this is not 100% verbatim) ” If they think it is unreasonable ,let them wander the world for two thousand years without a country to call their own and, when they come back we will talk”.
Since that time the Israelis have made ridiculous concessions as if they were the losers rather than the winners.

Just so your readers don’t get confused, There are actually two books of nearly the same title ‘The Late Great Israel’ written by David Joseph was released in 2007 of which there are numerous video’s floating about. Mr. Kleins new book is ‘The Late Great State of Israel’, written two years later. ‘The Late Great Israel’ identifies two top secret plans and lays them out in detail. One by an Iranian Arab coalition to destroy Israel and One by the Israeli’s to take out the Iranian Nuclear reactor (Times Magazine was admonished by the White House for making the Israeli plan so public after the book was released. So I guess the book hit pay dirt. There are roomers that Israel wants the book buried completely.) Strangely these two plans are not included in Mr. Kleins book. It appears the White House may have somehow convinced Mr. Klein not to print that. The rest of Mr. Kleins book is nearly the same as Mr. Joseph’s book.
