Kini? No, He Can’t
What a pity. What a shame. What a waste of a life.
This guy died before finding out who won the Rose Bowl.
The head of al-Qaeda in Pakistan and his lieutenant have been killed, US and Pakistan security sources confirmed today.
Usama al-Kini, al-Qaeda operations chief in Pakistan, and his lieutenant Sheikh Ahmed Salim Swedan, were on the FBI’s list of most wanted terrorism suspects. Believed to have been responsible for the Marriott Hotel bombing in Islamabad last September, which killed 55 people, they died as a result of a US hellfire missile attack on a militant hideout in the South Waziristan tribal region on New Year’s Day.
I suppose you do have to wonder how come we can reach into the furthest reaches of South Waziristan to grease Usama al-Kini (Rogers) and Sheikh Sweden (that can’t really be his name, can it?), but we still don’t have a Hellfire missile with bin Laden’s name on it. Something to look forward to, I guess.
Fight on for ol’ SC,
Our men fight on to victory.
Our Alma Mater dear
Looks up to you,
Fight on and win
For ol’ SC
Fight on to victory
Fight on!
UPDATE
Hot Air adds even more good news:
Abu Laith al Libi, a senior military commander in Afghanistan, was killed in a strike in North Waziristan in January. Abu Sulayman Jazairi, al Qaeda’s external operations chief, was killed in a strike in Bajaur in March. Abu Khabab al Masri, al Qaeda’s weapons of mass destruction chief, and several senior members of his staff were killed in a strike in South Waziristan in July. Khalid Habib, the leader of al Qaeda’s paramilitary forces in the tribal Ares, was killed in North Waziristan in October. Abu Jihad al Masri, the leader of the Egyptian Islamic Group and member of al Qaeda’s top council, was also killed in North Waziristan this October.
The Terrorist Blue-Gray Bowl between North Waziristan and South Waziristan is going to be missing a few players this year. Maybe they would be better off playing seven on seven.

Michael,
Once again we have the Nitwits and Idiots in the “Jewish Propaganda” machine who can’t get it right. How about it if we together give them some pointers.
#1 Video! You have tanks and armored vehicles, outfit one with a video camera.
#2 Production - You had a convoy, you had weapons, is it beyond you to choreograph an attack?
#3 PBS and the UN said you used a tank! How many tanks does Hamas have? Could you be more obvious? Good thing you didn’t use the main gun, but PBS knows that no good tanker would use his main gun on a fat juicy target like a truck in a convoy.
#4 It goes like this - Use only small arms to engage the convoy. Video the attack, but don’t show close-ups of the attackers unless they are dressed like a bunch of Hamas “militants”. Then cut to a scene with tanks, airplanes, artillery, attack helicopters all shooting into a pile of rubble. Breathless commentary at this point indicating that the enemy has stopped shooting and is injured would be sweet. Then have John Kerry run up over the berm of rubble and shoot the wounded “militant”. Drag the body out for the camera and have a medic appear to render aid, then finish with the award of a medal.
Because obviously in this case the Isrealis engaged the convoy… “Yes we can!” Michael.
