Thank God the Democrats won, huh? The party of the little guy and all:

What do you think Congress smelled like to them, Harry (latest disapproval rating of 74% according to Gallup)? You ever been downwind of a pig farm on a hot, humid summer day? That’s Chanel-[bleepin’]-Number 5 compared to the fetid mess on Capitol Hill.
No wonder the Democrats are the party of big government. They think you go through life fat, drunk, and stupid (two of which I don’t have a problem with). The party of the common man and woman thinks you walk around with a swarm of flies around you and can’t manage your own affairs.

Well, Harry. I wonder how the Marines smelled who were slugging it out with al Qaeda in Fallujah while you were simultaneously telling them they’d lost the war. Or perhaps you’d prefer this smell:

As someone who now lives in Washington, uses the local public transportation and occasionally visits all the touristy sites (Smithsonian, The Mall, Capitol Hill), I can second Reid’s comments. It would be funny if it was so smelly!
You’d think a little basic hygiene wasn’t such a difficult concept, but it’s downright surprising how stinky some people can be. This isn’t a partisan issue - I’m sure this is a view shared by Dems and Reps as well - through as we see, everyone is veering that way so far - it’s a basic human reaction to stinky people. LOL
