Hazing the Freshman

Joe Biden may be an idiot, but he ain’t stupid (or vice versa:

“Mark my words,” the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

“I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate,” Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. “And he’s gonna need help….”

As will we all, Joe, as will we all.

But doesn’t just one name come to mind who would be more than prepared on Day One to handle whatever Putin or Ahmadinejad throws his way? Someone who’s not “gonna need help”, but is ready to lead?

No, not Dennis Kucinich.

But check out how Biden went on:

“And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you - not financially to help him - we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”

What do you suppose that means? Does Biden already know what the test is? Say it ain’t so, Joe.

Does Obama already plan to invade another country, as Bush allegedly did, by Inauguration Day? He’s mouthed off to Pakistan already. Maybe he wants to grab their nuclear power. That wouldn’t be right, either initially or later. No Blood for Plutonium, Barack!

And how strong a candidate is Obama if he doesn’t even enjoy the support of foreign leaders that John Kerry had?

PS: Oh [bleep]:

Fundraisers are generally closed to the media’s cameras, though print journalists are usually allowed in. Biden appeared to forget Sunday night’s fundraiser wasn’t closed to reporters, saying, “I probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is here.” Moments later, he ended his remarks.

Stand up, Joe. Let ‘em see ya.

PS: Does anybody have any spare loin-girders? Size extra-large?

OH MY GOD. This latest Biden vommit is flat out weird — and kinda scarey. So, why not just elect the guy who, according to you, Joe, isn’t going to be “tested?”

And wtf do you mean “we’re going to need your influence in the community to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.” ???

Does that mean nuclear weapons, or martial law, or both, or …well, what the f*ck does it mean, Joe?

They accused “Joe the Plumber” as being a McCain plant? Have they considered Joe Biden? Keep talking Joe! Either one would be fine with me.

I have a legitimate question to ask someone out in cyberspace. Has there been any other cases of brain damage that has occurred with other men that have gotten plugs or hair transplanted or is Joe Biden the first case? Is the Botox injection causing lapses of brain function? Hey Joe! I hear they can transplant back hair now and your eyes are looking a little saggy.

This is not the whole story and you are twisting it to your liking. Whoever wins, there is going to be a crisis-that’s inevitable. All Biden was saying is that Obama will handle it in an unpopular way. That doesn’t mean its not the best way.

    Jessica,

I hate to be harsh, but one of the failings of the Typical Obama Supporter is that they cannot read.. or listen. Joe Biden said that the world will “test” Obama. In fact, the “whole story” was quoted in the post.

What Biden said is true. They will test him because he is completely inexperienced and they see a huge opening. Nobody would confront John McCain the same way because John McCain understands our military. John McCain would have competent advisers. Obama will blink; he will appease. He will pull a Jimmy Carter. Just to refresh your memory, Carter sat on his ass in the White House while hundreds American hostages were held in the US embassy in Iran - for 444 days. He taught the world that the US is limp, afraid, and willing to appease. September 11th 2001 (can you recall that?) is the direct result of Jimmy Carter’s policies. Barack Obama will make exactly the same mistakes. That is what Biden is referencing, although he apparently thinks that appeasement is the way to go.

In fact, Jessica, let me explain it to all the Typical Obama Supporters out there. Do you remember being in 7th grade and being delighted because the math teacher was out and you got a particularly clueless substitute? Nice, gentle, clueless sub. Barack Obama is the sub. Iran, Hamas, North Korea, Hezbollah, Russia and China are the 7th graders.

    Jessica said this:

***All Biden was saying is that Obama will handle it in an unpopular way. That doesn’t mean its not the best way.***

Jessica - exactly how much Kool-Aid have you had to drink? No, really, I’m being serious.

So, by your “reasoning”, I guess what George Bush did (in Iraq), albeit unpopular, was actually the right thing to do after all??? You can’t have it both ways. Oh wait, you’re a liberal. Of course you can. What was I thinking?

Man, we are in big trouble if this is the typical Obama supporter.
