We’re 13th, We Try Harder
What does an Islamophobe have to do to crack the mosque ceiling?
The terror apologists at FAIR (fellow travelers with CAIR) have published a report on “smearcasters” whom they have dubbed “Islamophobia’s Dirty Dozen.”
Yes, I made the list — along with many other outspoken critics whom I’ve learned much from and greatly admire. I consider it a badge of honor.
Go ahead and do your end-zone dance, Michelle. High-five Mark Steyn. Fist bump David Horowitz. Chest bump Debbie Schlussel. (Oh yes, please!) The rest of us have to labor in obscurity while you beautiful people (if Bill O’Reilly can be so considered) grab all the Muslim-bashing headlines.
Of course, Islamophobia has never been the right word. We’re not scared of Muslims, at least not most of them. (Daniel Pipes, a proud member of the Dozen, estimates that 10-15 percent of Muslims support radical Islam—150 million, give or take.) We’re more like sick of them. Their whining, bullying, demanding of favors and accommodations for their religious beliefs. Kathy Shaidle (another worthy candidate for inclusion) has suggested “Islamonausea”, which is hard to improve.

Why, thank you so much, good sir! “Islamonausea” was my word. Kathy had written a post about the wrongness of the word “Islamophobia” so I started nosing around dictionary and thesaurus and created “Islamonausea” which I promptly emailed to her. I had hoped to see it spread more, but I’m still proud of my little word.

Barack Obama should have made the list. The guy won’t even allow women with headscarves to be seen in the same photo with him. Clearly he’s an Islamophobe’s Islamophobe…

I like the ‘Islamic fatigue syndrome’ for describing the ‘fatigue’ one feels from all the whining and bullying we, in the West, experience form ’soft Sharia creep’ all the time…
However, I would like to suggest a little edit: ‘Islamist’ as opposed to ‘Islamic’….because, make no mistake, even those who whine and bitch have the same goal as the most radical Islamists out there - the destruction of our social customs, the normalization of Sharia customs, until eventually, de-facto or officially, Sharia becomes the rule of OUR land!!!
I also have a word I would like to share….when people have accused me of ‘Islamophobia’ - which I am NOT guilty of, thank you very much - I correct them and explain what I suffer from is ‘IslaMISTphobia’!!!
And this is reasonable, because Ismists are a very real, undeniable danger to us all!
