He Who Lives in Glass Houses

You want to talk houses, Sens. Obama and Biden? Are you sure about that?

[T]he Texas GOP decided to cast this as an attack on the American dream and of a man who sacrificed plenty in his life before achieving it:

Barack Obama has viciously attacked John McCain and his family for being successful and living the American dream. This, even after McCain gave so much for his country.

Obama claims he’s looking out for our families in an economic downturn, but ask yourself this: If Obama cares so much about your family, why doesn’t he take care of his own family first?

Barack Obama lives in this house … wants to live in this house … while his own brother lives in this one.

It hardly matters what’s relevant any more. When Teresa Heinz Kerry owned one of the ritziest homes in Boston’s posh Louisburg Square, I didn’t hear Joe Biden pipe up once. Just as when John Kerry ran as a war veteran I didn’t hear Biden or any Democrat denigrate military service, as they do now. Right up to the point of calling John McCain a nut-case for having been held as a POW for five-and-a-half years.

BTW, you can right John McCain’s response to the how-many-houses charge as well as I can: “Well, there was one house I remember in vivid detail because I lived there for almost five-and-a-half years. The accommodations were a bit rough, and the help was a bit surly, but it served me well enough. That’s why I don’t obsess over how many houses my wife or I own.” Barack Obama’s nut sack would shrink into his body if McCain let him really have it like this.
