Bayh and the Black Guy?
Don’t like the slogan? You would prefer maybe “A Couple of Zeros for ‘08″?
He coulda had a woman, he coulda had a Latino—he coulda had a V8, for crying out loud.
But no, Barack Obama instead secured the white Hoosier vote (reportedly) with the selection of Evan Bayh. Safe, bland, unexciting—unfunny.
A fitting choice for an office once described as not being worth a bucket of warm spit.
In addition the bumper sticker buzz, I received this e-mail from a reader:
“A good friend of mine just informed me that his good friend in IL has his hands deep into selling political T-shirts and he got word that Evan Bayh from Indiana will be his running mate for VP.”
Not exactly definitive, is it?

A Lenexa, Kansas printing company has started producing Obama-Bayh bumper stickers, according to a Kansas City television news report. KMBC-9 has three sources and an example of the bumper sticker for its proof that Barack Obama has selected Evan Bayh as his running mate.
A feint? Not that he wouldn’t pick Bayh, and not that I’d care if he did. But it smells fishy.
