Refuseniks
I’ve been hearing of a documentary about Soviet Jews, Refusenik, and their plight under Communist rule. Discriminated against, yet unable to emigrate, many endured time in labor camps before finally winning the right to leave (many, like Anatoly—now Natan—Sharansky, to Israel).
Haven’t seen it myself, but it plays in selected theaters around the country.
