Why the Arab world doesn’t have an immigration problem:
Egyptian authorities shot and critically wounded a Darfurian man trying to sneak into Israel for work and detained eight other Africans in a pair of incidents Saturday, a security and hospital officials said.
If that doesn’t put the whole North Africa scene in a nutshell, I don’t know what does: starving Darfurians, attempting to sneak into a land full of Jews, get shot by their Egyptian brothers.
I do not suggest we or Israel follow the Egyptian model. I only wish to point out that some countries use means other than college tuition breaks and drivers licenses to control illegal immigration. A free people can decide for themselves.
