Condi’s People
UPDATE
Hot Air has video.
What else can we call this?
A suicide bomber detonated explosives in a shopping mall in the southern Israeli town of Dimona on Monday morning, killing at least one person and wounding 11 others, police said.
A police officer at the mall shot and killed a second potential bomber who was knocked down by the initial blast. Authorities plan to conduct a controlled explosion to neutralize the explosives belt he was wearing.
Of the 11 wounded, one was seriously injured, two received moderate injuries and eight had light wounds.
A number of Palestinian groups lined up to claim responsibility for the attack, including Islamic Jihad, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
“It’s a natural response to all Israeli crimes, which are targeting women and children,” said Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoom from Gaza City. “Even according to international law, we have the right to defend ourselves.”
Secretary Rice identifies with the Palestinians because she knew one of the little girls killed in the Birmingham church firebombing in 1963—she says so herself.
And I entirely understand.
So when the Palestinians firebomb Israeli women and children (who else hangs out at malls?), she must feel a surge of pride.
