Liberals are Racist, Sexist Scum-Puppies
While we ponder the impact of Bill Richardson’s withdrawal from the campaign (don’t you have to be in it first?), let’s see how the intellectual media elite really think.
Not only are Democrats sexist swine (according to Gloria Steinem), they’re racist bastards, too.
A statement released today by former Boston Mayor and Vatican Ambassador Ray Flynn in response to the embarrassing performance last night by MSNBC talk-show host Chris Matthews, who attributed Barack Obama’s loss last night to racial bias among New Hampshire voters, and offered alleged racism in South Boston as a regional case in point: “The national media discredited itself with its coverage of the New Hampshire primary election. Not only were its predictions and political analysis way off the mark, but they also embarrassed themselves with their narrow minded comments. One such media distortion even claimed that the reason why Senator Obama didn’t win in New Hampshire was due to racism in New England. One MSNBC commentator even implied Boston and South Boston are racist. The so called commentator owes the City of Boston and the region an apology. I realize that the media bias is something we all have to live with. But why do we have to listen to uninformed political pundits who know less about New England than they do about politics?”
Again, Republicans vote against Obama and Clinton based on party and policy. Democrats, on the other hand, reject those candidates at their peril. Like John Edwards? White supremicist. Kucinich your man? Misogynist (not to mention fruitcake).
Someone might want to slip Matthews a note to remind him Massachusetts has a black governor, what’s-his-name. But don’t tell Gloria that he’s announced for Obama.
