An explosion at a funeral procession on Friday killed three people and injured at least 30 others, as hundreds of mourners marched through Gaza City, hospital officials said.
“We were saying the whole time to the driver, ‘You need to help us, call the police,’” [Patrick] Green told 11 News reporter Kerry Cavanaugh. “He said, ‘I can’t. I’ll get in trouble.’”
Roth said the driver closed the door and drove away, even though the attack continued once they got off the bus.
“We could’ve been left on the side of the road, dead,” [Robert] Rothe said.
Or Canada?
The Canadian Islamic Congress has sought relief from three bodies so far: the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the British Columbia Human Rights Commission and the Ontario Human Rights Commission.
