Not Folly, Not Farce: Fiasco
I’m (barely) withholding judgement on the Annapolis conference until I see what President Bush and Condaleezza Rice make of their opportunity with so many Arab leaders under one roof. I’m hoping to see something along the lines of the opening scene of Sea of Love where cop Al Pacino sets up a sting to arrest wanted felons as a chance to meet the Yankees.
If John Bolton isn’t waiting in Annapolis with a sawed-off shotgun, tar-and-feathers, and a pack of rotweilers, then I’ll complain.
