Where’s the Beef? [UPDATED]

So Walter Mondale is endorsing Hillary for President.

Sometimes these things write themselves.

“America is ready for change, and Hillary Clinton has the strength and experience to deliver it.”

And a four-chambered stomach to digest tough policy issues!

The St. Paul Sizzler oughta help turn this around:

Sen. Hillary Clinton continues to dominate the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, but after coming under pointed attacks from rivals, her lead has shrunk from a month ago, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Monday.

The New York Democrat is the top choice of 44 percent of the likely Democratic voters interviewed for the poll. Her closest rival, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, was the top choice of 25 percent, and former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina has 14 percent.

She’s got nothing to worry about from Obama; he’s scared witless of her. But this election can’t come soon enough for her. Her supporters can only get bored with her.
