Allah reports that Jimmy Carter has looked into the cold, glassy eye of genocide, and said “Do I know you?”
“There is a legal definition of genocide and Darfur does not meet that legal standard. The atrocities were horrible but I don’t think it qualifies to be called genocide,” he said.

“If you read the law textbooks … you’ll see very clearly that it’s not genocide and to call it genocide falsely just to exaggerate a horrible situation I don’t think it helps.”
Feel better, Darfurians? The law textbooks say it’s not so bad.
Like his fellow laureate, Yasser Arafat, Carter is a man of peace. Who better to judge what’s genocide?
Besides, as I wrote before, Jimmy’s never met a Jew-hater he didn’t like.
