The Times thinks she reserves her accent for black audiences but that’s impossible to say without knowing what the demographic breakdown among the SEIU crowd was. I was going to say that a bit of the boy from the Ozarks rubbed off on the girl from Park Ridge (by way of Wellesley)—but the image is too distasteful to imagine.
