If you don’t get there, consider this: Years ago, cataract surgery involved no less than one week in the hospital, per eye, each eye done separately. The head was sandbagged into place. Innovations have created the current situation where a cataract is removed and the patient is out the door in approximately two hours. That is not only a huge improvement in quality of life; it is much cheaper.
