Serious Note About Peace Prize
George W. Bush freed the women of Afghanistan. For the first time in years they could appear in public without a man, without a shroud covering them from head to foot. They could get health care. They could receive and education. They could get a job and take care of themselves. They were not chattel.
For that alone, I felt that he deserved the Peace Prize.
Obama seems to be hell-bent on undoing the work that the Bush administration accomplished in Afghanistan.
It is a sad, sad world.

Someone just pointed out that Obama had to have been nominated for this embarrassment just a couple of weeks into His term.
At least SNL and Leno will have some fresh material. Even NBC News seemed embarrassed by it all.
