Think of the Starving Michiganders
Stimulus money came to Detroit, and Detroit responded with a riot.
Same ol’ same ol’:
Note that this money was doled out to pay bills, not to create jobs. While it might have been welcome, people in Detroit are no appreciably better off today than they were yesterday. This stampede stimulated nothing. In fact, if it reduced American citizens to the level of starving Biafrans, fighting over sacks of rice, I would argue they are worse off—in spirit and self-respect—than they were before.
Certainly, this woman has nothing to be proud of:
ROGULSKI: Did you get an application to fill out yet?
WOMAN: I sure did. And I filled it out, and I am waiting to see what the results are going to be.
ROGULSKI: Will you know today how much money you’re getting?
WOMAN: No, I won’t, but I’m waiting for a phone call.
ROGULSKI: Where’s the money coming from?
WOMAN: I believe it’s coming from the City of Detroit or the state.
ROGULSKI: Where did they get it from?
WOMAN: Some funds that was forgiven (sic) by Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get the funds?
WOMAN: Obama getting the funds from… Ummm, I have no idea, to tell you the truth. He’s the president.
How can you look upon this circus, this degrading, demoralizing, dehumanizing fiasco, and not reject the Democratic Party? Their Welfare State is a national plantation, with black people their voting slaves. Whether that was its intent at the beginning hardly matters; who can look upon this scene and not see four decades of failure?
I am ashamed of the pity and contempt I feel for this woman—but more I am ashamed of a system that created her. Even more, I am ashamed of President Obama for wasting stimulus money on humiliating hand-outs to desperate people. His political gain comes at the expense of their dignity.

I heard these disgraceful tapes on the radio today. And I kept thinking of how the Seattle School Board has proposed changing the requirements for a high school diploma from a C average to a D average. The Seattle School Board wants to create more helpless illiterati like this dreadful creature who has no idea where Obama gets his money.
I know why they do it, even though they would never admit it: they want power, the left always wants power. They know best so they should control. And the simplest way to establish control is by making sure no one can disagree with you because no one knows enough.
My contempt is as boundless as the sea. The more I give to them, the more I have, for both are infinite.
