We will pray for Dean knowing the ravages of his disease. Our daughter Catharine lost her battle in June 2006 but lives on in our lives through her spirit and in the image of a hummingbird. She was a hero to so many people. She was quiet and mystical. Her deep faith reminded many of St. Therese of Lisieux. She would probably have had issues with Dean's politics but would embrace his humanity. She taught all of us to be peaceful, loving and non-judging. It's hard sometimes to live up to her standards but we try to daily. She would want us, as she is now from her perch above, to pray for Dean's health. God bless him. Catharine's web is www.cathymartinet.com Her writings, eulogies, pictures and diary are posted there.
