And the devastated lives of children began on Jan. 20, 2001. But before that, not a child's life had been devastated, ever, for any reason. Wait, there was one time. When the Manson family stabbed to death an 8 1/2 month-pregnant Sharon Tate, and later that act was deemed "so cool" by Barack and Michelle's friend, ....what's her name, the wife of Bill Ayers, the terrorist who killed some daddies whose children's lives weren't so much devastated but sort of messed up.
