		<description>I think that anyone with a conservative view living in the northeast or northern California, Chicago, etc., the very liberal parts of the country, has run into situations like those described in the post.  And the most interesting aspect of it isn't so much that our friends and neighbors profess tolerance of all but those who think differently; it is that most of them make their living directly off the capitalist system that they so despise.  They hate "The Insurance Industry" but work in an insurance company, pay the bills, save for college, etc.  The cognitive dissonance never disturbs them at all.
