Palestinian Kids Say the Darnedest Things

They’ve got to be carefully taught:

A televised memorial ceremony for Yasser Arafat included a video clip of Palestinian children delivering messages in honor of Arafat. It is noteworthy that even though this clip was prerecorded and edited, the organizers of the PA’s official ceremony chose to include hate speech and libels that demonized Jews and glorified violence and Martyrdom. [What do you mean “even though”? Should read “especially though”. Ed.]

This children’s section in the special memorial indicates the PA’s success in transmitting to the next generation of Palestinian children hate libels that demonize Jews. Including these hate messages in the ceremony also shows that the PA approves of, and wants to publicize, the values of hatred, violence and Martyrdom that the children have adopted.

The following is the transcript of excerpts of the children’s messages:

Ceremony host: “Blessings to Yasser Arafat, and here are messages from the children of Palestine.”

Boy: “I was very, very sad when Arafat died as a Shahid (Martyr), because he was a good man and he was a fighter. He did things through struggle, he participated in the struggle and did not make peace and so on. He wanted to fight.”

Boy 2: “Yasser Arafat was a very, very important president. He stood up to all the enemies and was not afraid of anyone. And anyone who approached - he managed to stop him. All the Jews and the Israelis and the people who are against us, were afraid of him. When he died, he died of poisoning.”

Girl wearing pendant in the shape of Israel: “I say that he died from poisoning by the Jews. That’s what I say.”

Boy 3: “Arafat used to say: “They want me dead, they want me prisoner, but I say to them: Martyr! Martyr! Martyr!”

Girl 2: “He [Arafat] was our former president. He was under siege in Ramallah, and when he was under siege we were very upset. The Jews poisoned him and I hate them very much. Allah will repay them what they deserve.”

Boy 4: “He [Arafat] died from poisoning by the Jews. Well, I don’t know what he died from, but I know it was by the Jews.”

Boy 5: “They destroyed his whole house and he was left in one room and in the end the Jews poisoned him and blamed someone else.”

Poisoned? If you call contracting a fatal disease from allegedly boning virile young Arab men poisoning, yeah I guess he was poisoned. Allegedly.

Just as we learned the Pledge of Allegiance and My Country Tis of Thee as children, the children of the nascent Palestinian state have learned “The Jews poisoned him and I hate them very much. Allah will repay them what they deserve.”

As they sow, so shall they reap. Which is why the Palestinians will end up killing themselves before Allah gets around to dealing with the Jews.

You Can’t Make This Stuff Up

Yasser Arafat, who led hundreds of terrorist attacks against Jews, is the most trusted personality among Palestinian Authority Arabs even though he died nearly five years ago, according to a new poll conducted by the Jerusalem Media & Communications Center.

Answers to the open-ended question, “Which Palestinian personality do you trust the most?” also revealed that de facto Gaza Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh is more popular than PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. In third place is Marwan Barghouti, who is serving five life terms in an Israeli prison for involvement in several terrorist attacks that killed dozens of Israelis.

Arafat was more trusted than Mahmoud al-Zahar, a senior Hamas minister and trailed behind Khaled Mashaal, the Syrian-based leader of the Hamas terrorist movement, by less than one percent.

PA analyst Wafa Amr, based in Ramallah, said that support for Hamas now is higher in Judea and Samaria than it is in Gaza, according to a report published in the London Times.

I can speculate about why support for Hamas is higher in Judea and Samaria than in Gaza. The Palestinians living in Gaza have lived under Hamas for over two years. They have been exposed to brutality and deprivation at the hands of their leadership. When Hamas took over Gaza initially, in the summer of 2007, they began by throwing Fatah members off the roofs, murdering them in front of their children, and other friendly gestures. They also have a habit of stealing food shipments meant for ordinary Gazans. My guess is that this information never quite made it to the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria, but the cheery PR about how Hamas is a public service organization did reach them.

He’s Still Dead—That’s All That Matters

You are forgiven if you’ve already forgotten Yasser Arafat. He was that hideously ugly (fact, not opinion), fat, sweaty, amoral, terrorist (ditto).

No, not this one:

That’s the late pediatrician Abdel Rantisi, part-time head of Hamass (when he wasn’t busy dying in fiery explosions), and full-time nasty piece of work.

Sorry, not this one either:

That’s former Israeli prisoner and gravy-filled scumbag Samir Kuntar.

I really need to be more specific with these Palestinian terrorist types, don’t I?

This is Yasser Arafat:

The guy with the picnic blanket on his head, right.

Anyhow, they still can’t figure out why he died. And I’m trying to figure out why anyone cares:

The Palestinian Authority briefly closed down the Al-Jazeera offices in the West Bank last week after the news network broadcast an accusation that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas helped Israel kill Yasser Arafat in 2004 (see final item below). The conspiracy libel that Israel murdered Arafat has been disseminated by the Palestinian Authority since his death, but this is the first time that Abbas has been accused of being part of the plot. Other explanations have also been proposed.

Everyone knows it was AIDS (allegedly).

Arafat Never Got Sick—Till He Died

I don’t know why I bother with this, except that it’s funny. They dug up Yasser Arafat’s office manager, and asked her about her old boss.

Interviewer: Who killed Yasser Arafat?

“Umm Nasser”: Israel and America. Sharon said to Bush, the greatest criminal: “What else can I do? We’ve already placed Abu Ammar under siege.”

Interviewer: Did Sharon tell [Bush] to set the precise time for him to die?

“Umm Nasser”: Yes. Bush gave him the okay. He said to Sharon: “Go ahead.” They did this by means of a virus, which is passed through physical contact.

Interviewer: Or through kisses.

“Umm Nasser”: Yes, and he used to hug everybody.

Interviewer: I heard that former French president Chirac tried to get an antidote to treat Abu Ammar…

“Umm Nasser”: They refused. Just like Hamas leader Khaled Mash’al – they did the same thing to him, and he almost died. King Hussein was holding an Israeli spy, and he said: “I will give you the spy if you send me the antidote for Khaled Mash’al.”

Interviewer: But they refused…

“Umm Nasser”: They brought him the antidote, and he is alive and well in Damascus.

Interviewer: But when it came to Yasser Arafat, they refused.

“Umm Nasser”: That’s right. They said: “We’ve already decided to finish him off.” They besieged him.

Interviewer: But he was never sick – he never suffered from diabetes or blood pressure, did he?

“Umm Nasser”: Never. The only thing he suffered from was a problem in his spine, because he used to fly a lot. There probably isn’t a pilot anywhere in the world who flew as much as Abu Ammar.

I’ve heard about the virus theory before, but the “physical contact” by which he contracted it was a good deal more intimate than hugs, if you get my meaning. The lower spine problem would be a clue.

And speaking of illnesses:

“Umm Nasser”: … It’s painful, and it is because of the cancer spreading in our Arab nation – Israel. We need to uproot this cancer any way we can. When they find a cure for cancer, Allah will give us a cure to rid ourselves of the Israeli cancer.

This is one cancer I hope proves fatal.

Ramallah Ramrod

You couldn’t pay me enough to go near the place:

arafats-bed.jpg

Yasser Arafat’s official Web site has posted pictures it says show the late Palestinian leader’s frugal room where he slept while under Israeli siege.

The pictures show a single bed, lamp and a closet containing Arafat’s iconic wardrobe: five military-style suits and four checkered black-and-white Palestinian scarfs.

His bedroom contained no windows and could only be accessed through a guard’s room, precautions against possible assassination.

Just imagine the DNA clinging to the fabrics in that room. Not even while wearing a level-four bio-hazard suit would I go near the place:

hoffman
No effing way am I going in there. Uh-uh.

More On Norwegian Anti-Semitism

A couple of posts back, BTL pointed out how a Norwegian diplomat was sending images comparing Israelis to Nazis through the internet. It is actually a more disturbing story than that
Let’s begin with an image from the Norwegian diplomat:

ghetto-kid-v-pali-stone-thrower.jpg

Got it? She’s comparing Israel to Hitler. I know, you’re yawning, but this stuff really concerns me.

If you go to the link, you can find the original image which the diplomat used. It was made in 2001, not in Gaza 2009, and it depicts a boy who was throwing rocks at Israelis and was then stopped. They stopped him by picking him up and hauling him away. He wet his pants. Here, let me show you.
First, the lad throws stones:

Next, he is hauled away. Not murdered.

Notice that the diplomat chose to only show the second image.

But, Aggie, how do you know he wasn’t murdered?

Here’s how:
pali-kid-who-wet-his-pants-with-arafat.jpg

This is disturbing on so many levels. Most of us have accepted that Arafat was a brutal terrorist. We understand that even today, Palestinian terrorists train children to hate and reward them for hateful acts. But many of us still struggle with the realization that Europe is up to its eyeballs in Jew hatred still.
