Takes Two to Know One

God bless liberals. They crack me up.

But shouldn’t they try a little harder?

“Let’s get down to it, Mike Bloomberg, mayor of New York City, there’s a level of antisemitism in this thing directed towards Bloomberg,” Barnicle argued on Morning Joe , “It’s out there.” “No doubt about it,” Sharpton responded.

“If he was not a big-city Jewish man and was from another ethnic group, in some parts, I think it would be different,” Sharpton continued.

Oh dear. Yes, that’s Al Sharpton, scourge of big-city Jewish men.

But Barnicle hasn’t been a stranger to anti-Semitic charges either:

In a letter faxed to news organizations, [Alan] Dershowitz details two incidents in which Barnicle made up quotes for his columns and attributed them to people who never said them.

In the first case, in 1970, Dershowitz says Barnicle attributed a racist quote to a Jewish merchant. The merchant successfully sued, and Barnicle paid him $40,000, according to Dershowitz.

In the second incident, in 1990, Dershowitz said Barnicle made up a racial slur that he falsely attributed to Dershowitz. Dershowitz says Barnicle acknowledged that slur in a taped radio show.

See? Libs are hysterical. Outrageous, even.

God damn ‘em. Bless! I mean bless. God bless ‘em.

Let’s stop a minute and recall that Al Sharpton shouted something about Diamond Merchants in Crown Heights, NY (1991) and an innocent Australian Jew was knifed in a mob attack. The mob was screaming, “Kill the Jew!”

He’s definitely offended by antisemitism. I’ll buy that.
