Dorner Overdone

How fitting that a monster like Christopher Dorner burned to death. It will help him get used to the climate where he’s going.

It may take days before authorities can officially determine whether Christopher Jordan Dorner’s body was found in the ashes of a torched cabin near Big Bear Lake, California.

But several signs early Wednesday seemed to suggest that the ex-Los Angeles police officer’s vendetta against his brothers in blue ended in that wooden cabin with a shootout that left one deputy dead and another wounded.

The frenzied manhunt, road blocks and helicopter flights, which had brought the mountain town to a standstill for six days, died down Tuesday night.

And late in the evening, authorities announced that they found human remains in the cabin and would need forensic experts to identify them.

A guy as big as him would burn for hours, like a Yule log.

But enough about a cold-blooded killer, a madman and a bad man.

What about his adoring chorus? The people who set up websites cheering his murder spree? How does the Left look itself in the mirror anymore? They are so filled with hate, they can’t think straight. They are as deranged as Dorner himself. We compassionate conservatives can only hope they don’t come to the same end.

I don’t think most on the left condone or praise Dorner’s actions even if Dorner himself was a liberal.

Just Google “support Dorner” and see what comes up. Whether it’s most on the Left or just some of the Left or even most of some on the Left, there is a disturbing number of people who supported what this sick [bleep] did. How can a liberal city (Hollywood?) in a liberal state have such a allegedly racist police department anymore? It once did, sure, but I don’t see how it could today. The satisfaction these people take in Dorner’s sick and cruel actions betrays their mental immaturity at best, and a sickness equal to his at worst.

    Headline at City Journal:

“Crazy to Everyone but the New York Times
The paper bends over backward to find justification for Christopher Dorner’s murderous rampage.”

I know that there is support for Dorner. I have seen the facebook pages, etc. dedicated to his support. However, I think it is a very small subset of LA residents and a very small subset of liberals that attempt to justify this behavior. I agree with you that the Dorner fan club is as deranged as Dorner himself and it is disturbing that these people exist at all.

What I find obnoxious is that the media is adamantly denying their rhetoric had anything to do with Dorner’s violence. This from a bunch of clowns who somehow concluded that Sarah Palin’s use of the word “target” metaphorically was directly responsible for causing a mentally unstable leftist shooter to nearly kill a Democrat member of Congress.

There was no evidence that I know of that Loughner even heard of Sarah Palin, much less was “inspired” by her. There is evidence that Dorner was a fan of CNN, MSNBC, Piers Morgan as well as major Democrat political figures (Obama, Biden, Hillary) and was radicalized by the Trayvon Martin case.

Instead of any self-reflection about their own potential role in Dorner’s violence, the media has chosen to flush any mention of it down the memory hole instead.

Brilliant point. If it’s negative, it’s never about the media. But they cover themselves in glory if they somehow perceive themselves as having done something worthwhile. If only Dorner had identified with the Tea Party…

Buck, The media is biased. If it can be used against conservatives, they will use it while trying to minimize damage done to liberals. In both these instances, the shooters culpability is diminished by the media. For Loughner, they put the blame on Sarah Palin. For Dorner, they put the blame on LAPD corruption.

Has there been any news of whether the remains have been confirmed to be Dorner?
