Al “Jazeera” Gore

I’ve been trying to figure out what to say about Al Gore selling his loser outfit, Current TV, to Al Jazeera only to discover that Glenn Beck said it for me:

A source familiar with the negotiations between Al Gore’s Current TV and Glenn Beck’s The Blaze TV tells National Review Online that, while talks between the two companies were congenial, the immediate feedback was that “Al Gore cannot sell to Glenn Beck.” “They wanted to sell to somebody they are ideologically in line with,” he said.

In the course of a 17-minute monologue on his radio show earlier today, Beck said of Gore, “He didn’t sell to the highest bidder. We were not allowed to the table.” He added, “I am proud to say that Al Gore finds my principles reprehensible but aligns his principles with Al-Jazeera.”

The right side of the blogosphere is writing about this, but no one else is. Which is a disgrace.

This is whose thirty pieces of silver Al Gore is pleased to take.

In 2004, interim Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi temporarily shut down Al Jazeera’s broadcast in Iraq because he said it was inciting violence and racial hatred. In 2008, former ABC-TV Nightline reporter Dave Marash, brought on to anchor Al Jazeera English for American audiences, quit after two years and said the anti-American bias at the station was “reflexive.”

“The agreement by Al Jazeera cable television network to buy Current TV is not necessarily a plus for U.S. cable operators or their audiences,” said Andrea Levin, president and executive director of CAMERA. Al Jazeera Arabic “is not the Middle East equivalent of CNN, as it is often but mistakenly described,” Levin said.

CAMERA says one of the network’s most popular programs is Shariah and Life, hosted by Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi, a former “spiritual guide” of the Muslim Brotherhood. Al-Qaradawi has called for conversion of Europe and North America to Islam and a Muslim-led genocide of Israel and the Jews, Levin said.

More in the Al Jazeera archives.

A commenter at CAMERA reminds us that Al Jazeera produced a glowing tribute to our girl, Dalal Mughrabi:

Al Jazeera broadcasts “reflexive” anti-Americanism and virulent anti-Semitism—and Al Gore declares it in line with his ideology.

Correction: Glenn Beck didn’t say it for me, Al Gore did. What more can we say, except that no one on the Left notices or cares?

I watch several news channels on a daily basis.BBC,Sky,CNN ENCA,RT,Al Jazeera,Bloomberg,Fox France 24,and Euronews, I also glance at a couple of Indian and Chinese channels.Despite the fact that I fully support Israel and Al Jazeera is a pro Arab channel I find it a lot more realistic, honest and neutral than some of the rubbish which purports to be news on Fox for example ( Which to my educated ears sounds like a cross between The Beverly Hillbilly’s and Red Necks are us ) and there is a lot more about Israel on Al Jazeera than any of the other news channels for instance today they were broadcasting about a woman who was tracing her lost love of 67 years ago to where they were hidden in Holland until he was killed in a concentration camp. The documentary allthough subtitled in English was in Hebrew, Dutch and Yiddish. That would never be broadcast on any other channel that is watched by me.

Al will be Al. And left-wing antisemitism is a fact of life.

Al Jazeera is definitely Pro Arab,Pro Muslim and Anti Israel , but to be honest I have never seen any anti- Jewish slant to their programming .
